Moscow considered the visit to the city of Buchi by the heads of the capital’s Nor-Nork administrative district and the Armenian diplomatic mission as an openly unfriendly move on the part of official Yerevan.
Russia was angered by the recent visit of the official Armenian delegation to Bucha, Kyiv region: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation sent a note to its Armenian colleagues. The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova spoke about this on Sunday, June 9, in a commentary on News.ru.
We consider the visit to the city of Buchi by the heads of the Nor-Nork administrative district of the capital, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, and the diplomatic mission of Armenia, Vladimir Karapetyan, as an openly unfriendly move on the part of official Yerevan. We are concerned about their diversion of aid to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the unacceptable statements made there against Russia. We sent a note of protest to the Armenian Foreign Ministry,” Zakharova said.
And the head of the Armenian parliament, Alen Simonyan, said that the Armenian delegation did not travel to Bucha. He also noted that he could not comment further on this topic.
Ter-Margaryan said that Yerevan and Nor-Nork will always support Bucha and other communities that “experienced Russian aggression.”

“This humanitarian aid is only a small part of our solidarity,” said Tigran Ter-Margaryan, as reported by the Russian independent TG channel Astra.
It was previously reported that Russia recalled its ambassador to Armenia.
Before this, Yerevan said that all Russian border and military checkpoints located after 2020 in five regions of Armenia will stop their activities.
