After the statements about the possible sending of French instructors to Ukraine, fake coffins and graffiti with coffins began to appear in Paris under the Eiffel Tower.
Three Moldovan citizens were detained in Paris on suspicions that they painted graffiti with coffins and the inscription “French soldiers in Ukraine.” French broadcaster BFM TV reported this on Saturday, June 8.
The graffiti was discovered on June 7 in the seventh arrondissement of Paris. How many drawings were made is still unknown. At this time, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is in Paris.
Earlier this month, unknown persons placed five fake coffins filled with plaster near the Eiffel Tower. They were wrapped in French flags, with the inscription “French soldiers of Ukraine”. On the same day, three men were detained in Paris – the driver of a truck carrying coffins, and two other men who were to take a bus to Berlin.
It is not yet clear if these detainees have committed the same crimes, and if they are connected in any way. According to BFMTV, the suspects are being investigated in relation to the possible interference of foreigners.
Before this, it was reported that France could announce a decision to send military instructors to Ukraine, despite the concerns of some allies and criticism from Russia.
