In Poland, a police car damaged an Air Rescue helicopter that landed at the scene of an accident on the A2 motorway. RMF24 reported this on Saturday, June 8.
It is indicated that the unusual accident occurred at the Krzesina interchange in Poznan. The Air Rescue helicopter was called there because of an accident with a motorcyclist.
When doctors were helping the victim, the driver of the police car ignored the road sign, drove under the helicopter’s main rotor and hit it with its antennae.
As a result, the propeller was damaged, and the police did not even respond to the pilot’s signals and left the scene. It is not yet known if the helicopter will be able to fly after the technical inspection.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist who was injured in the accident died.
Earlier, in Gdansk, Poland, two Ukrainian teenagers died while fleeing the police. The young people are from the Zaporozhye region. They arrived in Poland after the start of a massive war.
