The 61 million Germans with voting rights will decide which German party representatives will sit in the European Union’s legislature. Among the 720 members of the EU parliament there will be 96 deputies from Germany.
If European elections were held today, the center-right CDU/CSU bloc would gain 30%. This is evidenced by data from the Politbarometr Extra survey from the ZDF television company.
In second place may be the Greens, Social Democrats (SPD) or the right with the ADN. According to preliminary estimates, 14% of voters would vote for each party.
Interestingly, 42% of respondents are not yet sure who they want to vote for or whether they will vote at all. However, 61% of survey respondents expressed strong or strong interest in the election. 38% are less interested in elections or not at all.
The EU is electing a new European Parliament.
