The death of a man after visiting the TCC in Zhitomir is being investigated by law enforcement officers.

The Zhytomyr Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Central region provides procedural guidance on criminal proceedings initiated upon the death of a person liable for military service. The event was preliminarily classified as murder – Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, military commissars took the man to the regional Territorial Integration Center to undergo a military medical examination. There, according to preliminary information, he suffered an epileptic attack.
An ambulance took him to intensive care, but on June 2, doctors pronounced him dead. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
Let us remind you that in the Zhytomyr region a man died, taken to the TCC to undergo a military medical commission. The military registration and enlistment office says that he had an epileptic seizure due to alcohol abuse. His relatives claim that the military commissars beat him, which led to his death.
