As of June 6, more than 55 thousand electronic veteran IDs have been generated on the Diya mobile application. This was announced by the director of the Department of Digital Development and Transformation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, Nadezhda Adamenko, the press service of the department reports.
“Now more than 1 million Ukrainians have the opportunity to use an electronic veteran’s ID instead of and there is no need to present the corresponding ID in paper form, as well as an identity document in the first few hours alone, more than 55 thousand veterans The e-ID is generated in the Diya application,” – he said.
Individuals with the following status can generate an electronic ID on their smartphone:

warrior,
-
a person disabled as a result of war,
-
participant in the war
-
wounded participant in the Revolution of Dignity,
-
family member of a deceased war veteran,
-
a family member of the deceased defender and protector of Ukraine.
The veteran’s e-ID has a unique QR code, which can be used to verify the authenticity of the document and data about the bearer in the Unified State Register of War Veterans.

We remind you that on June 5, an electronic veteran’s ID was launched in the Diya application. The electronic document acquires a legal status.
