A large-scale aviation incident on the railway occurred in the Czech Republic on the night of June 6.

Passenger and freight trains collided near the city of Pardubice. The RegioJet express passenger train, which was heading to the Ukrainian Chop, carried 380 people. And in the freight train of 21 cars there were only drivers. This was reported by iDNES media, the fire service and the Czech police.
It is noted that as a result of the collision, four people were killed, and more than 20 others received various injuries.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by law enforcement. It is preliminary known that the collision occurred due to an error by the RegioJet driver.
Meanwhile, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the trailer cars in which people were traveling to Chop were inside the train. None of these passengers were killed or seriously injured.
Despite the force majeure on Czech territory, Ukrzaliznytsia is working to organize the transportation of passengers on delayed trains to their destinations, the statement says.
