On the night of June 6, the Russian military attacked Ukraine with 18 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type, the Ukrainian air defense destroyed 17 drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Russian invaders attacked Dnepropetrovsk region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Taganrog region – Russian Federation, and also attacked with 18 attack UAVs of Shahed-131/136 type from Primorsko-Akhtarsk region – Russian Federation, Cape Chauda – Crimea,” the message said.
As a result of the battle against the aircraft, 17 attack UAVs were shot down in the Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Khmelnytsky regions.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the enemy’s air attack.
We remind you that on the night of June 5, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 27 attack drones. As a result of the battle against the aircraft, 22 suicide bombers were shot down in the regions of Nikolaev, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy and Poltava.
An industrial facility was hit in the Poltava region. An infrastructure facility was damaged in Nikopol.
