In Zaporozhye, four days after the Russian shelling, traffic was launched along the Dnieper hydroelectric power station dam.

The head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this today, June 5, in his Telegram channel.
In the 4 days since the enemy shelling, the people who were engaged in resuming the movement have accomplished the incredible,” Fedorov emphasized. “Everyone worked around the clock so that residents of Zaporozhye could move between the two banks safely and without traffic jams as quickly as possible.
He noted that the following were involved in the resumption of movement:
- State Special Transport Service;
- station workers;
- city utility workers;
- contractors Industrial Mountaineering LLC and Avtomagistral-Yug LLC;
- specialists from the Ukrainian Institute of Steel Structures named after V. M. Shimanovsky;
- patrol police;
- regional and city authorities.
The Telegram channel of the Zaporozhye region patrol police notes that traffic along the dam will be one lane in each direction with a speed limit of 30 km/h.
We also remind drivers of heavy vehicles that vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons are prohibited from driving through the dam. The movement of cargo vehicles is carried out through the island of Khortitsa by Vantovo, Arkov and the Preobrazhensky bridge, the police note.
