The draft resolution developed by the Cabinet of Ministers is approved and ratified in the near future.
The Cabinet of Ministers is developing a draft resolution to postpone registration in Ukraine for conscripts before conscription and conscripts located abroad. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk on Telegram on Wednesday, June 5.
“About the 17-year-old Ukrainians who are now abroad: the Ministry of Defense said that they should go to Ukraine and register for military service. Legally, the Ministry of Defense is right, because it is how the current rules are written, he noted.
According to Vereshchuk, the Cabinet of Ministers is well aware that “forcing students of non-mobilization age to go to Ukraine to undergo the appropriate procedures will only increase the burden on the Higher Military Commission and not help in any way in the movement.”
Therefore, a draft resolution has been developed, it is currently undergoing approval, and it will be adopted in the near future.
“Pre-conscripts and conscripts who are now abroad will be given a postponement of registration – either until they return to Ukraine or until the end of martial law,” said Vereshchuk.
We remind you that Ukrainians who are liable for military service abroad and have “wanted” status on the Reserve+ application must return to Ukraine and exit the TCC.
On May 18, an updated mobilization law went into effect in Ukraine. All Ukrainians liable for military service from 18 to 60 years of age must update their data by July 16. You can update data in the Reserve+, TCC or TsPAU application.
Currently, 1.371 million Ukrainians have updated their data. Among them are 190 thousand women.
