The Ukrainian military continues to take steps to strengthen the front line of defense of the Kharkov region.
Since the beginning of the present day, 38 military clashes have taken place on the front. Heavy fighting continues in eastern Ukraine, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Wednesday, June 5.
“In the direction of Kharkov From the beginning of the day there was a battle in the area of Volchansk. The situation is under control. Our defenders are continuing to take steps to strengthen the front line of defense,” the statement said.
According to updated data, in the past 24 hours the enemy has lost 127 people in this direction, 41 of them irretrievably. One tank, four artillery systems, 15 UAVs, 15 vehicles and six units of special equipment were destroyed. Two bullets and 21 personnel shelters were hit.
Directed by Liman, in the Serebryansky Forest, an enemy attack was repulsed. The battle continues in the areas of Nevsky and Serebryansky forestry.
In the direction of Seversky Three military clashes have already taken place: two attacks have been repelled in the Verkhnekamenskoye area, and fighting continues near the village of Vyimka.
In the direction of Kramatorsk The situation is tense – from the beginning of the day, five military clashes continued in the areas of Andreevka and Kleshchievka. The enemy did not succeed.
In the direction of Toretsk The invaders are unsuccessfully trying to approach the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the White Mountain area. There is a battle going on.
In the direction of Pokrovsky The enemy is making attempts to advance in the areas of Novoaleksandrovka, Novoselovka Pervaya and Sokol. One attack repulsed, five more in progress. The situation is under control.
Yesterday’s activity of the Russians in this direction cost them: 450 killed and wounded, four tanks, seven armored vehicles, three guns, 16 vehicles, five UAVs and three electronic warfare equipment were destroyed. Two warehouses with ammunition and one with fuel flew into the air.
In the direction of Kurakhovsky The Ukrainian Armed Forces repel an enemy attack in the Georgievka area.
Beginning of the day in the direction of Vremevsky Two clashes continue near Urozhainy.
The enemy’s attempt to advance in the direction of Orekhovsky, in the area of Malaya Tokmachka, was also unsuccessful.
In the direction of the Dnieper the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from the bridgehead in the Krynok area. The attack of the Russian invaders failed. Losing positions is not allowed.
The enemy did not conduct active operations in other directions.
We remind you that on the day of June 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 1,280 invaders. And in total, about 514 thousand Russian military personnel have died since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
