No charges were filed in the case. However, the case may still end up in an administrative body.

Czech police released foreigners detained in connection with an incident on Saturday in Prague’s Old Town Square near a stand in support of Ukraine. Novinky reported it.

No charges were filed in the case.

According to the press secretary of the Prague Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, Ales Cymbala, we are talking about foreigners with German citizenship.

One person was detained by the police at the scene, the other four were quickly followed to the airport. They were all asked.

“The currently available evidence cannot indicate criminal liability against any of the detainees who were released on June 3 after the necessary investigative actions were issued on Tuesday,” the spokesman said.

It is known that the police and the prosecutor’s office continue to investigate this case, as there is suspicion of a criminal offense. The case may still end up in an administrative body, which may, among other things, impose a fine.

We remind you that in Prague, at the Vaclav Havel Airport, the police detained foreigners suspected of attacking volunteers who were collecting funds to help Ukraine in the Old Town Square in Prague.
