Over the past 72 hours, the Avdeevka-Pokrovsk sector in the Donetsk region has remained the main focus of the occupiers’ efforts, but the enemy has not achieved significant success. The invaders achieved only minor successes in the northern part of this sector towards the villages of Sokol and Evgenievka. The British Ministry of Defense announced this on the social network on June 4.
The British also noted that beyond the parallel axis about 3 km to the south, the Russian army was probably approaching the outskirts of the village of Novoselovka-Pervaya. Further to the south the enemy was unable to achieve significant success. However, the enemy is actively storming the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces west of the village of Netaylovo, located on the E50 highway.
And the village of Nevelskoye, as foreign intelligence suggests, is still controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The area is likely to remain an area of increased operational focus over the next week as Russian forces try to maintain operational tempo in the face of heavy casualties, the Defense Ministry said.
Let us remind you that the other day the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the pressure of the Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsky direction is not decreasing. In addition, the invaders are increasing the pace of attacks in the Seversky and Kurakhovsky directions.
