The North Atlantic Alliance is developing several land corridors to push American troops and armored vehicles into the front line in the event of a great European ground war with the Russian Federation. US soldiers will disembark at one of five ports and follow pre-planned logistics routes in the event of Russian aggression. This was reported by The Telegraph.
It is noted that logistics routes have become a key priority after NATO leaders at the Vilnius summit in 2023 agreed to train 300 thousand troops who will be on high alert to defend the Alliance.
The plan calls for US troops to disembark at Dutch ports before boarding trains that will take them through Germany and on to Poland. In the event of war, these troops would be transferred to the port of Rotterdam and then head east.
If US troops in the Netherlands are attacked and all northern European ports are destroyed, then NATO may use ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey as a plan.
From Italian ports, American troops will be transported by land through Slovenia, Croatia to Hungary, bordering Ukraine. From the ports of Greece and Turkey, these troops can be transported to the eastern flank through Bulgaria and Romania.
Let us recall that in January, the head of the NATO military committee, Rob Bauer, said that the Alliance countries need to prepare for a war with Russia, which will greatly affect ordinary people.
