A petition has been registered on the website of the President of Ukraine calling for the introduction of an economic reservation system in the state. The document was signed by thousands of Ukrainians.
The authors of the petition appealed to President Vladimir Zelensky with a request to introduce economic reservations in Ukraine related to the war, which continues to cause serious damage to the economy and society.
In their opinion, the economic reserve will ensure stable financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Citizens who do not directly participate in the hostilities must support the army financially. This will be realized through fixed contributions, which will be made regularly in this way, we will ensure a constant flow of funds for the defense needs,” it said in the petition.
Its authors also believe that the economic reservation will help reduce inflation risks, support critical sectors of the economy, ensure business predictability and give people hope.
“In war, people need hope. It is important to give citizens a choice, as is customary in any democratic country. the morale of the population.” , – stated in the document.
