An oil refinery is on fire in Ukhta, Russia

As a result of the incident, two people died and four were hospitalized due to burns and gas poisoning, the media reported.

In the Russian city of Ukhta (Komi Republic), a fire broke out in an oil refinery. This was reported by the Interfax agency on June 2 with regard to the administration of the region.

It was already mentioned that in the tank farm of the oil refinery in Ukhta (4 km from the city), a fire occurred in the RVS-10000 tank.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation are working in the area.

According to Russian media, a fire broke out at the LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka plant. Before the incident, local residents heard an explosion and later saw smoke.

According to the Mash Telegram channel, two people died, four were hospitalized due to burns and gas poisoning.
