The aggressor country attacked the energy infrastructure in five regions of Ukraine. The enemy tried to hit the energy infrastructure in the Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovograd, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Energy Minister German Galushchenko announced this on Facebook.
The official noted that the consequences of the shelling are being clarified. Energy workers are working to eliminate them.
During the night attack, the air force reported drone attacks and subsequently the use of various types of missiles.
As you know, Russia has been shelling Ukrainian energy facilities since the beginning of spring. The enemy destroyed most of the energy generation. Therefore, blackout schedules were introduced.
Let us remind you that the day before Ukrenergo announced that on June 1 they introduced limits on light consumption for business and the population throughout Ukraine from 18.00 to 23.00. Hourly outage schedules may apply if these limits are exceeded. However, the lights will not be turned off for critical infrastructure.
