During martial law, mobilization did not stop, and the recently enacted law simply introduced some changes to this process. Now those liable for military service are required to update their data, although this does not mean that they will immediately be mobilized to the front. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on May 31 at a joint press conference with participants in the third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit.
The mobilization continued and continues. True, I’ll tell you frankly, after the adoption of this law it increased,” the head of state noted.
Let us remind you that on May 18 of this year the updated law on mobilization came into force. It suggests that all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 must update their credentials within 60 days. This must be done before July 16th.
