Ukraine is hoping for productive results from the NATO summit in Washington on July 9-11. President Vladimir Zelensky said this at a press conference in Stockholm following the third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit on Friday, May 31.
“The summit should be productive, Ukraine believes that it cannot be achieved without resolving the issue of inviting Ukraine to NATO,” he said.
Zelensky added that the Stockholm meeting formalized common political efforts to strengthen the EU and NATO.
