The head of the Presidential Office, Andrei Yermak, announced this today, May 31, in his Telegram channel.
These are privates, sergeants and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NSU, GNSU and civilians,” Ermak noted.
In particular, the following were returned from captivity:
- 19 people captured from Zmeiny Island;
- 10 defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal;
- Ukrainian soldiers captured in different directions.
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that an exchange of prisoners took place in the “75 to 75” format. The Russian department noted that the United Arab Emirates provided “mediation of a humanitarian nature” in this matter.
