On Thursday night, May 30, the Ukrainian military fired ATACMS ballistic missiles at the Kerch ferry crossing, which was actively used by the enemy to support its group of troops on the temporarily occupied peninsula. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that this facility was covered by Russian air defense systems “Pantsir”, “Thor” and “Triumph”, approved by hostile propaganda. However, American missiles, which were put into service in the 90s of the last century, successfully overcame the “newest” hostile air defense.
The missile strike damaged two ferries carrying out rail and road transport. One of them ran aground, blocking the functioning of the entire Kerch crossing.
Thanks to the successful combat work of the Ukrainian missilemen, the military logistics of the occupiers on the peninsula have been significantly undermined,” the General Staff noted.
Let us remind you that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a successful operation – Ukrainian Magura V5 drones hit four Russian KS-701 Tuna transport and landing boats. The Russians used these boats for logistics and patrolling the waters near the temporarily occupied peninsula.
