The health of the head of the Slovak government is improving after being wounded in an assassination attempt.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has been released from hospital in the central town of Banska Bystrica, where he was recovering after the attack on him. He was taken to Bratislava. This was reported on Thursday, May 30, by several Slovak media, particularly JOJ TV, Markiza TV and RTVS.
According to media reports, Fico was already in his apartment in Bratislava, and several police and security guards were on duty nearby on Thursday afternoon.
