US President Joe Biden secretly gave Ukraine permission to attack Russia with weapons provided by Washington. Politico wrote this on Thursday, May 30, citing administration sources.

“The President recently instructed his team to ensure that Ukraine can use American weapons to retaliate in the Kharkiv region, so that Ukraine can retaliate against Russian forces launching or preparing to launch strikes,” the US official told publication.
As for long-term strikes inside Russia, US policy in this regard has not changed, Politico’s source said.
Ukraine already has permission to attack Russia with weapons supplied to it from several countries.

Sweden is also not opposed to Ukraine using its weapons to strike targets on Russian territory.
