Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, and Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez signed a bilateral security agreement in Madrid.

This was reported today, May 27, on the Facebook page of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
We have now signed a political agreement, which plays a very important role. This is a treaty for the future, and this is an example of our determination to provide Ukraine with all the tools to provide Ukraine with stability,” Sanchez said.
According to the Spanish Prime Minister, this agreement includes such topics as financial and military support, as well as reconstruction, restoration and demining.
Thus, Spain became the tenth country with which Ukraine entered into an agreement. Prior to this, bilateral security agreements were concluded with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland and Latvia.
After the Peace Summit, the European Union seeks to organize a conference with Russia’s participation.
