The Russian Federation yesterday dealt another blow to the civilian population of Ukraine. The Epicenter hypermarket in Kharkov burned down.
EU Council President Charles Michel condemned Russia’s strike on the Epicenter in Kharkov and said that Western countries should urgently “come to a comprehensive solution” to the issue of Ukrainian air defense. On Sunday, May 26, he wrote about it on social networks X.
“The Russian attack on the Kharkov supermarket was brutal,” wrote the President of the EU Council.
He also called Russia’s attempts to “terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine” as part of the “aggressive” war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine criminal.
“Together we can prevent brutal Russian attacks. We urgently need to move towards a comprehensive solution to Ukraine’s air defense,” Michel said.
The head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, condemned the Russian attacks on Kharkov
We remind you that on May 25, the Russian military launched strikes with two KAB at the Epicenter in Kharkov. At that moment, there were more than 200 people in the building. So far, 16 have died.
On the same day, the Russians launched new attacks on Kharkov. The air raid warning lasted over 12 hours in the city.
