This was done thanks to the stolen awards of Colonel Alexei Telizhenko. And also the failure of high-ranking Pskov intelligence officers who used the phone of a murdered SBU colonel to coordinate their actions in the occupied Kiev region in March 2022.
This is stated in the documentary project of Radio Liberty correspondent Dmitry Dzhulay. This is the first part of a series of films about massacres that occurred during the Russian occupation in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region.
The stolen awards of Colonel Telizhenko are now probably on display in the so-called Kuzbass Museum of Military Glory of the Special Forces of the Russian Guard.
According to the investigation, on March 6, 2022, SBU colonel Telizhenko was captured by the Russian military on the territory of his home in occupied Bucha. Most likely, this was done by the military of the 27th separate special forces detachment of the Russian Guard “Kuzbass”, stationed in the Siberian city of Kemerovo. According to the recollections of witnesses, Telizhenko was also abused and kept naked in the cold.
Russian soldiers stole his personal belongings from Telizhenko’s house, including a ceremonial jacket with military awards.
