Russian military activity in the direction of Kupyansk increased dramatically, almost doubling every day.
The number of military clashes on the front since the beginning of the day on May 26 has increased to 83. In the direction of Kupyansk, the activity of Russian troops has almost doubled. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an evening report.
“Enemy activity in the Kupyansky direction has increased sharply, almost doubling in one day, it has not subsided in the Pokrovsky direction either,” the message said.
Ukrainian troops are taking steps to hold positions and destroy a potential enemy offensive.
There were no major changes in the direction of Kharkov. Russian troops continue to try to improve the tactical situation near Volchansk and Liptsy. In the Liptsev area they hit three more KABs. In total, in the north of the Kharkov region on Sunday, the invaders dropped 22 guided bombs.
In the direction of Kupyansk, six military clashes are ongoing from 21 since the beginning of the day. Enemy offensive operations continue near Novoegorovka, Petropavlovka, Berestovoy and Grekovka. The Russians did not stop with airstrikes – two more took place in the areas near Boguslavka and Sheykovka.
In the direction of Liman, the battle continues in Ternov. The situation is under control.
There have been 31 military clashes in the direction of Pokrovsky. The enemy, with aviation support, directed its main efforts near the settlements of Novoaleksandrovka, Sokol and Umanskoye. He also conducted three airstrikes near Skuchnoye and Novoselovka First.
Russian troops continue to fire guided bombs and unguided missiles in the direction of Vremevsky, near Staromayorsky, Urozhainy and Olgovsky. The number of collisions has not changed. In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
