Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, before launching a massive invasion of Ukraine in 2022, may have had some “discussions” with other states and revealed his plans for the upcoming attack. This was said in an interview with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in The New York Times.
According to him, the decision of the owner of the Kremlin to launch a large-scale invasion of Ukraine can be explained either by the fact that the Russian dictator is an “inadequate” person, or by the fact that the head of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation believes that there will be no consequences for his aggression.
As for the last option, the Ukrainian head of state suggested that Putin could “have some dialogues with other countries.”
“I don’t want to think about it, because it’s not a collaboration, but playing behind someone’s back and complete betrayal,” Zelensky added.
At the same time, he added that he excludes speculation about any agreements between Putin.
Zelensky called for the Russian dictator to be considered “inadequate”, hoping that nobody would help Ukraine defend itself and that “he can catch us and destroy us”.
