The enemy has been stopped in the Kharkov direction – the Defense Forces are planning and carrying out offensive actions to restore the lost position.

This was stated by Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Prokhorenko.
He also notes that Russian forces “are planning to bypass the city of Kupyansk from the east, but are not having success.”
In the Kharkov direction, the Russian occupiers carried out seven assault operations. They were driven back near the settlements of Glubokoe and Liptsy. Ukrainian soldiers fight back and continue to repulse 4 enemy attacks in the Volchansk area. Aviation dropped two guided bombs on this populated area twice. Russian terrorists hit Staritsa with another KAB, the Khortitsa operational command said in a statement.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Zelensky visited Kharkov on May 24, where he held a meeting on the situation in the region and preparations for the heating season. There he also came to the printing house, which had been destroyed the day before as a result of Russian strikes.
In Sumy and Chernigov the situation is controlled. The occupiers are amassing troops on Russian territory and are trying to destroy Ukrainian critical infrastructure facilities.
In the Limansky, Seversky, Kramatorsk directions, the Russians continue to try to break through the Ukrainian defense.
