Russian troops have captured a small amount of territory in the north of the Kharkov region and continue to capture border settlements.
Ukrainian troops managed to control the border of the Kharkov region, where the Russian invaders had entered. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Friday, May 24, in an evening video message.
He thanked each subsection, which “provided the necessary results in the destruction of the invaders,” and noted that during a trip to Kharkov on May 24, he discussed “additional tasks, taking into account information from agencies of intelligence.”
It is known that in Kharkov the head of state held a meeting on the operational situation in the region and preparations for the autumn-winter season. In addition, Zelensky inspected the printing house that was destroyed by the Russian attack. He said that the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the regional authorities of the Kharkov region were instructed to help continue the work of the printing industry.

Before this, Russian troops also attacked Kharkov and other settlements in the region. Initially, one death and 10 injuries were reported. It was later learned that seven people had died.
