Since the beginning of 2024, 94 children have been displaced from the temporarily occupied Kherson region,” said the head of the Kherson OVA.
Three families, which raised 5 girls and 1 boy aged 1 to 9 years, were removed from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. The head of Kharkov OVA, Alexander Prokudin, announced this on May 24.
It was noted that while under occupation, in the absence of Russian passports, the families did not have the right to see doctors or get a job. For the purpose of psychological pressure and intimidation, the Russian military continued to conduct searches of homes, thereby terrorizing children.
Currently, all families are safe and receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
According to the head of the OBA, since the beginning of 2024, 94 children have been removed from the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
We remind you that 13 more Ukrainian children have been returned to their homeland. Seven children were removed from the temporarily occupied territories, six more were returned as part of the implementation of the action plan approved by the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA.
Earlier, six more Ukrainian children and their parents were returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
