The Kremlin leader said that the second phase of Russia’s nuclear exercises will take place with the participation of the Belarusian military.
The head of the ruling regime in the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, planned to discuss in Minsk with his Belarusian “comrade” Alexander Lukashenko the second phase of Russian nuclear exercises with the participation of the Belarusian military. The propaganda news agency TASS reported this in connection with a statement by the Russian dictator on its Telegram channel on Friday, May 24.
According to the owner of the Kremlin, before leaving he discussed with the Russian government all areas of cooperation with Belarus.
As you know, Russia will conduct exercises with nuclear weapons. This was in response to “provocative statements and threats by some Western officials against the Russian Federation,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
Later, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Western countries of allegedly “aggravating” the situation in Ukraine and that this required a response from the Russian Federation.
