Satellite images from the impact site appeared online. The photographs show the site of the missile impact, and a small Cyclone missile ship, carrying Caliber cruise missiles, was moored nearby. Radio Liberty reported this on May 23.
And earlier, Conflict Intelligence Team analysts stated that they received from a source a photograph from the site, which showed the Cyclone mast sticking out of the water. The sinking of the vessel is also evidenced by the presence of a rescue boat on site, which can be seen on satellite photos.
Let us remind you that on the night of May 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a Russian Project 22800 Cyclone missile ship in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
The Ukrainian command stated that the Cyclone was a new launch vehicle and did not manage to launch a single missile. The ship didn’t even have time to complete the test.
