Ukraine and Sweden began negotiations on the conclusion of an agreement on cooperation in the field of security. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine on Tuesday, May 21.
It is reported that the negotiations are being conducted in compliance with instructions from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and to continue his recent telephone conversation with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
“We are grateful to Sweden for Ukraine’s significant support, in particular military support, in countering Russia’s full aggression with Sweden in all strategic areas, which will be reflected in our bilateral agreement,” emphasized of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Igor Zhovkva.

Earlier, Zelensky reported productive talks and meetings with the President of Romania, the President of Angola, the Prime Minister of Iraq, the President of Azerbaijan and the German Foreign Minister.
