American TV presenter Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, began hosting the Tucker show on the Russian propaganda channel Russia 24. This was reported by the Latvian Russian-language publication The Insider.
Carlson’s videos have been published on the website of the Russian state television and radio company VGTRK since September 2023. Only now did the media pay attention to it.
Carlson and Russian propaganda began to actively cooperate in February 2024, when he published an interview with Putin.
In the first episode of the program, Carlson discussed ticks and the symptoms of Lyme disease with an “expert.” It is no coincidence that Carlson’s latest issue focuses on ticks, because they are “a biological weapon of the United States,” the media said.
The publication added that they did not find out under what conditions Carlson works at the propaganda TV channel: he started working for them or sold the right to copy his materials.
Kremlin media presented the show as “Russia 24 and CarlsonTV present.”
