The validity period of the conclusion of the military medical commission on fitness is one year.

This period is established during mobilization or martial law. In peacetime, the validity period of the VLK conclusion is five years. The relevant deadlines were determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to Resolution No. 560 of May 16, 2024.
If reservists and those liable for military service undergo a medical examination during mobilization and/or martial law, the validity of the certificate concluding that they are fit for military service is one year, the resolution says.
The government’s decision notes that men who have not undergone a medical examination or whose decision on fitness for military service has expired are sent to VLK.
Ukrainians who, after the announcement of mobilization, arrived at the TCC to clarify their credentials are not sent for a medical examination. They are called for this procedure by subpoena.
The day before, the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Dmitry Lazutkin, said that the conclusions of the VLK for Ukrainians liable for military service in peacetime are valid for five years.
Let us remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that allowed representatives of the Territorial Acquisition Center to serve summons to Ukrainians around the clock. Subpoenas can be issued to reservists and those liable for military service at the address of their place of residence or the address of their declared or registered place of residence, work or study.
