This was reported on May 20 in OVA.
We continue to have continuous shelling. The enemy continues assault operations, mainly concentrated in the directions of the settlement of Liptsy, the settlement of Volchansk and on the left-right flank of the city of Volchansk, said Deputy Chairman of the Kharkov OVA Roman Semenukha.
Ukrainian war correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov wrote about the situation at the front in this direction:
The enemy continues to press in the direction of Liptsy. He had tactical successes. Our counterattack took place on the enemy’s left flank; the occupiers were pushed back 200-300 meters towards Lukyantsev. But it was more like putting out a fire, because the Russian advance looked too threatening. The enemy has not yet reached the main line of defense. Our soldiers are trying with all their might to prevent this. The fighting continues.
In Volchansk the tactical situation is gradually improving. The enemy is moving more and more slowly, and this lost time is playing to our advantage. Currently, the occupier has attracted about 75% of the main forces that were allocated for operations in the city area. And then everything depends on how ready the enemy is to attract reserves, as well as withdraw them from other directions (it has already begun).
