Experts found 290 components produced by more than 25 foreign companies in the DPRK ballistic missile launched by Russia in Ukraine. This was announced by the director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Alexander Ruvin, on Telegram on Monday, May 20.
“Thus, in just one object identified as a sample of a North Korean ballistic missile, 290 microelectronics components made in other countries, China, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland and Taiwan, etc., were found,” he noted.
According to Ruvin, imported microelectronics are the basis of all types of Russian missiles.
“Thus, the conclusions of Ukrainian and foreign experts indicate the importance of control over the export of commercial electronic components and at the same time the dependence of the aggressor country, Russia, on foreign technologies,” the said the director of the institute.
Let’s recall that a report by the British organization Conflict Armament Research reported that the North Korean missiles used by the Russian Federation to attack Ukraine contain components from American and European companies.
