This was reported by Defense Express.
As of May 15, 12 Tu-95MS strategic bombers, 13 Tu-22M3 strategic bombers, one Tu-160 and two An-12 military transport aircraft were recorded at the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region.
Particular attention should be paid to this, since the Olenya airbase is one of the main ones for the Russian Aerospace Forces during massive missile attacks on Ukraine, the report says.
It is also likely that the occupiers are seeking to remove their most valuable aircraft from the potential strike of long-range kamikaze drones that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have.
In addition, the An-12 military transport aircraft also recorded at Olenya could, in all likelihood, be used for flights necessary to accumulate cruise missiles at the Olenya airfield.
