Mourning was declared in the Kharkov region

As a result of shelling from the Uragan MLRS in the villages of Novoosinovo and Kovsharovka, five civilians were killed: men 64, 65 and 58 years old, as well as two women 56 and 72 years old.

On Monday, May 20, a Day of Mourning was declared in the Kharkov region due to widespread civilian casualties as a result of Russian strikes, the Kharkov Regional State Administration reported.

“Tomorrow, May 20, is the Day of Mourning in the Kharkov region. Residents, as a result of shelling in the villages of Kovsharovka, Novoosinovo, Kupyanskaya community and Malodanilovskaya community, took the lives of 11 people pregnant, ” reported the Regional State Administration.

According to the Kharkov regional prosecutor’s office, as a result of the strike in the Kharkov region, six people died and 28 were injured.

As a result of shelling in the Kupyansky district, five people died and 10 were injured.

Let’s recall that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the supply of two Patriot air defense systems to protect Kharkov will fundamentally change the security situation in the city.
