In particular, in the direction of Volchansk, Ukrainian border guards defeated enemy infantry. Two groups of infantry of the invaders were discovered on the territory of the city by border guards of the Steel Border brigade. The State Border Service of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on May 19.
It is noted that one enemy group was hiding under the bridge, and the other was in the house. FPV drone operators worked on the “holes” with the occupiers. The invaders’ losses are being clarified.
The morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for May 19 reported that the enemy did not carry out active operations in the Kharkov direction. The Ukrainian military is instead strengthening its positions and keeping the invaders under fire control. Since the beginning of the day, four invaders have been eliminated and 14 pieces of equipment destroyed – a tank, an artillery system and three vehicles; two tanks, five artillery systems and two vehicles have been damaged.
And on Saturday, May 18, the total losses of the Russian army in the Kharkov region amounted to occupiers and 43 units of equipment. In addition, three tanks, one armored combat vehicle, three artillery systems and four vehicles were damaged.
Let us remind you that on May 18, an airstrike by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a stronghold of the Russian invaders in Volchansk, Kharkov region. The invaders used the building of the local central district hospital as a shelter and a place to accumulate their manpower.
