The Verkhovna Rada adopted this law on April 11, and on April 16 it was signed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
The law, in particular, provides that:
- Citizens from 25 to 60 years old are subject to mobilization;
- during mobilization, men aged 18 to 60 years are required to carry a military registration document with them at all times and present it at the request of a TCC representative or a police officer or border guard;
- conscripts and those liable for military service must update their data within 60 days after the law comes into force. To do this, those in Ukraine need to appear in person at the TCC, CNAP, or do this in their electronic account of the person liable for military service.
- Those liable for military service abroad can update their data remotely through an electronic account or by contacting the TCC by phone on the TCC website.
