Zelensky signed four decrees on Ukraine’s withdrawal from a number of agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States.
On May 15, President Vladimir Zelensky signed orders on Ukraine’s withdrawal from several agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is reported by the Office of the President.
The head of state signed four decrees. One of them indicates that Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement between member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States on Strategic Forces.
The second order states that Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States on Armed Forces and Border Troops.
By the third order, Ukraine withdrew from the agreement on the creation of the Joint Consultative Commission on Disarmament.
The fourth states that Ukraine will withdraw from such decisions of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States:

decision of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

decision to introduce amendments and additions to the regulations in the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

decision to introduce amendments and additions to the regulations in the Council of Ministers of Interior States of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Let’s recall that Ukraine withdrew from the CIS treaty on fighting crime.
Earlier, the government decided to withdraw Ukraine from three more international agreements with CIS member states. These are related to the fight against the increasing incidence of diabetes, military transport and prevention of iodine deficiency conditions.
