The 46th brigade, which defends the Novopavlovsk direction, wrote on May 15 that after leaving the refractory plant, the entire brunt of the fighting was transferred to the northern part of the city.
This section of the city was almost completely destroyed by artillery and aviation, private sector buildings, difficult to defend.

After capturing the refractory plant, the Russians stopped using aircraft and are using the plant to concentrate assault teams. The Russian Army is moving units to the hospital area to carry out attack operations towards the city center.
After coming under control of the eastern, south-eastern and southern parts of Krasnogorovka, the Russian Federation pulled up artillery crews and UAVs to the front, thereby increasing their range of action.
The Ukrainian military believes that the enemy will use the capture of Krasnohorivka to concentrate forces and means to cover the Kurakhovsky defense region not only from the east, but also from the north.
