Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources.
The money for it will probably be taken from the $61 billion benefit package. At the same time, the White House is encouraging allies to make the delivery of Patriot systems to Ukraine a priority.
Bloomberg writes that “the United States is seeking to send one battery along with the radars, according to the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters.”
Representatives of the White House National Security Council and the Pentagon did not comment on this matter.
The day before, Vladimir Zelensky told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Ukraine needs at least two Patriot batteries – for Kharkov and the Kharkov region.
