The Permanent Representative of Ukraine spoke about two notorious murderers who are now fighting with the Russian army. From Putin’s words, it follows that such people are today’s “real heroes” of Russia.
The Russian army of occupation was filled with convicted murderers who had been promised pardons for their participation in the war. This was said by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Sergei Kislitsa at a meeting of the UN Security Council, reports Ukrinform.
Kislitsa said some cases have shocked even Russians loyal to the Putin regime.
“For example, the Russian media recently discovered two notorious murderers in the Russian army – the cannibal Dmitry Malyshev, who killed many people and ate the heart of one of them, and the madman Alexander Maslennikov , who killed and dismembered two women,” the permanent representative noted.
According to Kislitsa, these are the skills that are now most in demand in the Russian army. “Therefore, instead of a long prison term, the two were recruited from prison cells into the army and sent to Ukraine to kill Ukrainians,” he added.
As follows from Putin’s speech on May 9, such people are “real heroes” of Russia, Kislitsa pointed out. Returning to Russia, these “heroes” continue their violent activities. According to Russian media alone, at least 24 convicted murderers who were pardoned and returned home after participating in the war have committed murder again.
“It is difficult to imagine how the residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine suffer when rapists and murderers serving in the Russian army enjoy complete impunity for crimes against them,” the diplomat emphasized.
He also said that on May 10, the Russian army launched an offensive in the north of the Kharkov region. The immediate target was Volchansk, which, along with the surrounding settlements, was subject to continuous artillery shelling, airstrikes and attacks with guided bombs.
In addition, Kislitsa reported that since the end of February, Russia has carried out 388 strikes on 131 energy infrastructure facilities – hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants, dams and power transmission systems. These attacks destroyed almost all of Ukraine’s thermal generation.
It was previously reported that in the Russian Federation the number of murders committed by the military has increased by 900%.
