The opposition parliamentary factions United National Movement (UNM) and Lelo in the Georgian parliament announced a boycott of parliamentary work in connection with the adoption of the law on “foreign agents”. This was reported by NewsGeorgia on Tuesday, May 14.

“In the near future, together with representatives of both the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition, we will present the final action plan to the public,” he said.
The representative of the Lelo group, Anna Natsvlishvili, said that members of her faction see no point in continuing to work in parliament.
“Georgia’s future lies in NATO and the European Union,” he said.
