This was reported on the company’s Telegram channel.
The reason is a significant shortage of electricity in the system as a result of Russian shelling and increased consumption due to cold weather, the report says.
It is noted that tomorrow, May 15, for industrial consumers, power limitation schedules will be in effect throughout the day – from 00.00 to 24.00.
Messages about the introduction of emergency shutdown schedules (ESS) also appeared in the Telegmra channels of regional power companies.
In particular, Volynblenergo reports that shutdowns are being introduced one by one throughout the region.
Within 15 minutes after receiving the command from the regional dispatcher of NPC Ukrenergo, Volynyoblenergo is forced to put into effect GAO for both enterprises and the population immediately and without warning, the company notes. — It is impossible to predict the duration of the outage. GAV continues until the next order to turn on the Ukrenergo dispatcher.
It is noted that power engineers are forced to use GAV in the event of an unexpected emergency power shortage in the power system and when the frequency of the electric current drops below 49.6 Hz.
Each turn of the main power supply line is a list of power lines that must be immediately disconnected in accordance with how much load needs to be removed by order of NPC Ukrenergo. GAO is not the specific addresses of consumers and the timing of shutdowns, adds Volynoblenergo.
