Serbia will send an ambassador to Ukraine for the first time since the full-scale Russian invasion two years ago.

President Aleksandar Vucic announced this decision after a meeting in Belgrade with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
Kuleba and the first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya arrived in Serbia on May 12. This is the first such visit to Belgrade in more than two years.
Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic assured that Serbia is committed to international law and the territorial integrity of “every UN member state, including Ukraine.”
Zelenskaya is in Belgrade at the invitation of the First Lady of Serbia Tamara Vucic to participate in a conference on mental health.
