The evening report on May 13 lists the following directions: Kharkovskoe, Kupyanskoe, Limanskoe, Seversk (Donetsk region), Kramatorskoe, Toretskoe, Pokrovskoe, Kurakhovskoe, Vremevskoe, Gulyaipolskoe, Orekhovskoe, Prydneprovskoe, Volynskoe and Polesskoe, as well as a section of the state border in Chernigov. and Sumy regions.
The Kharkov direction, where the enemy’s offensive operations began, was separated from the former Slobozhansky direction.
The Bakhmut direction in communications was divided into Seversk (from the name of the city of Seversk in the Donetsk region), Kramatorsk and Toretsk.
The old Avdeevsky direction became Pokrovsky.
The Novopavlovskoe direction (formerly Maryinskoe) was divided into Kurakhovskoe and Vremevskoe.
The Gulyai-Polye direction was also isolated from the Orekhovsky direction.
